Just because the boats are put up for the season doesn’t mean the fun is over.  Quite the contrary!  There are 2 events left in 2005, and then we have the Banquet in January.  Plan on making them all; a good time is guaranteed!!

Thursday, November 17th      “W & J Tod Boatworks of Weymouth, England:

From Hut on the Beach to a Major Boat Yard”     Lewis White.

Lew spent many years in the service of W & J Tod, and has original photos to prove it!  This will be a very interesting presentation that you won’t want to miss.

Refreshments will be provided by our VP-Elect Bob Van Guilder.  Also, be sure to wear your club nametag if you have one.  We’ll take orders if you don’t.

Sunday, December 4th  -  Annual WBA Holiday

This  year’s event will be hosted by Mark & Elizabeth Webster.  Invitations to all club members are in the mail.  Please be sure to make this event (and RSVP!)  Maps to the Webster's house can be found on the backside of the invitation.

Saturday, January 21st – WBA Installation Banquet

Our banquet will be held at Canyon Creek Country Club in Richardson, TX, and our guest speaker will be none-other than the very entertaining and well-published fiction writer, wooden boat enthusiast, and former Dallas resident – Merl W. (“Bill”) Baldwin, Jr.  Hold on to your hats and invite your neighbors, because this Banquet is going to be FUN!
