I hope everyone has it on the calendar to attend our 3^rd Annual WBA Rendezvous at Lynn Creek Marina on Joe Pool Lake this SATURDAY (August 13^th).  Remember, you don’t have to bring a boat to have a good time!  Call Mark at (214) 403-3851 with any questions.

Our joint WBA/ ACBS Southwest Chapter Lewisville Lake Ride’N Show is also coming up this month.  This will be August 26-28^th at Sneaky Pete’s.  Please be sure to send in your reservations for dinner on Friday evening.  Call Dick Peterson at (214) 850-5412 or Bob Van Guilder at (214) 957-3692 with any questions.

Our next meeting will be Thursday, August 18th at 7:30 p.m. Directions to our meeting location can be found on the website www.woodenboatassociation.com.

Bob Van Guilder will be presenting a slide show of photos taken at Club Events from the past few years, and Robin McGeorge will be providing refreshments. 

At the meeting we will be seeking volunteers for the Nominations Committee and the Banquet Committee.   So, here’s your chance to “Just Do It Something!”
