Special thanks to Jim Wolfe for an excellent presentation on the Century Coronado at our May meeting. Jim's presentation traced the history, features and design of this distinctive craft. Jim's own Coronado is in restoration now, and promises to be a prime specimen of the marque.
Special reminder: the June and July meetings will be held in a different location -- see below.
We had a great turnout on Saturday, May 27th, for a clean-up of the WBA shop in Lucas. A full morning of sorting, dusting, sweeping and selectively disposing has left the shop in Bristol condition. Thanks to all who put in a few hours of very worthwhile labor!!
We were honored to be invited to display our boats at the 50th anniversary celebration of the Dallas Corinthian Yacht Club on June 3. DCYC members had a full day of activities, capped off by a Luau on Saturday evening. WBA members offered boat rides to a few devout sailors, and may even have made a convert or two!
