Small-Block Chevy V-8, 285 HP w Velvet-Drive transmission, 13X13 Prop. No-soak 3M 5200 bottom installed by owner – 2001. The original bottom was removed; the center frame was replaced; the stringers were reinforced the entire length; the frames and plywood inner bottom were treated to prevent fungus and coated with CPES; The mahogany bottom planks were sealed with CPES, bedded in 3M 5200 polyurethane caulk and fastened with silicon-bronze screws. The bottom exterior was sealed with Interlux epoxy barrier primer. The bottom paint is an Interlux medium green enamel. Solid Cherry Dash with electronic gauges (tachometer, water temp, oil pressure, volts). Electronic ignition retrofit. Upholstery: red vinyl similar to as-delivered in 1955. Extra equipment included: spare Velvet Drive transmission (rebuilt), Gear-mesh water pump, Bimini Top, Boarding Ladder, Anchor, Boathook-paddle.
