This is a rare 1939 Gar Wood 18.5 ft Model 950 in wonderful condition. It has always been stored inside and covered. This boat features walk through front seat, upgraded 1950 Six With 93 HP, clock style dash cluster, Klum Ignition & Light switch, Cigerette/Cigar lighter (comes in handy for plugging in a trickle charger), button tufted seat cushions, all orignal chromed brass hardware, and the wonderful fast Gar Wood deep V Hull for smooth riding even in choppy water.

All gauges work, cig lighter, horn and all lights operational. Original fire ext. included. Cotton boat cover included.

This boat will easily cruse at 30 MPH and has a top speed close to 40 MPH. Seats 5 to 7 people and several chairs can be added behind the front seat for additional seating.

She is ready for this summer and many more summers of enjoyment. For video of her crusing this past weekend click on the first image of this ad. Chris Craft boats were nice but Gar Woods were the Cadillac of their time, They were built very sturdy and could take the chop of the bigger lakes extremely well as seen in this video.

This boat comes with a serviceable galvanized trailer, with new tires and functional lights. Trailer has new tag.

Just a bit of history, this boat was shipped to Saranac Lake, New York on July 21, 1939. It is number 64 of 119 built in 1939. Hull number 6437.
